The Upside Down

A series of paintings inspired by the Netflix series, "Stranger Things," the paintings are a series of diptychs that juxtapose an almost kitchy "pretty" version of the paintings with a dark and decaying "upside down" version.

These paintings are diptychs; the two paintings are considered one artwork and are sold together. Inquire for pricing.

Upside Down: Sacrilege (Diptych)

Due to the thick brush strokes (impasto), the painting will change with light sources. The original images were flash photography which eliminated all the shadows. Natural daylight cools the images and helps to catch shadows in the strokes, giving it more depth.
