This project was inspired William Blake's book of poetry and artwork, "Songs of Innocence and of Experience" which showed two contrary states of the human soul: an Innocent state of naivety maturing into an Experienced state that comes from learning as we progress through life.
Adversity reflects an "Innocent" stage where we have so many of life's problems we must learn to deal with and overcome.
Details: This is an original, signed drawing; it is not a reproduction. It ships unframed with an acid-free backing board and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The charcoal has been fixed with a UV-protectant and will not dislodge in shipping. Although it has been treated, 99% UV treated glass is always recommended for any drawing. Original paintings will ship fully insured and will require a signature on delivery. Be careful not to do anything that would nullify the insurance claim such as throwing out the packaging if it is damaged.
