Phantoms
Art is often inspired by other artists, and for this series I've let music be my inspiration. Each painting is developed Alla Prima (single session) while listening to specifically selected albums; Phantoms of the musical influence may be vividly evident or subtly sit beneath the surface of each work. Whether direct or subliminal, overt or unobservable, music is a pillar of each painting's construction.
